Auréa is the Most Beautiful Ring of the Year 2025

The Auréa ring has been chosen as the Most Beautiful Ring of the Year 2025! Designed by goldsmith Elias Narsakka, the ring from the Festive diamond collection wowed the audience with its union of light and elegance and won by a clear margin.
Light inspires design
The theme of this year's Most Beautiful Ring of the Year competition was "Light". The theme invited designers to interpret the dialogue between light, brightness and shadow in jewellery. The Auréa is made of 14 carat recycled gold, with an oval 1.00 ct diamond sparkling in the centre. Each detail is hand-finished in Hämeenlinna, Finland.
"The idea of bringing light into the ring was a favourite starting point for me. A beautifully cut diamond reflects light in a unique way, and I wanted to highlight this in a new way in a modern form. I spent a long time developing the shape of the ring to find just the perfect balance. We responsibly use only recycled gold and carefully selected, certified diamonds."

A celebration of local craftsmanship
The Most Beautiful Ring of the Year competition is organised annually in collaboration between Häät-media and Love Me Do. Now in its 18th year, the event has showcased the best of Finnish jewellery design. This year, the public voted for the ten finalists, and Auréa emerged as the clear favourite with 27.5% of all votes.
The competition emphasises not only design but also ethical and responsible manufacturing - values that are at the heart of the Festival's activities.
In the hands of a fourth generation of goldsmiths
Elias Narsakka continues the long tradition of craftsmanship in the family business, Goldsmiths Narsakka Oy, now in its fourth generation. The Hämeenlinna-based workshop combines traditional craftsmanship with modern jewellery design - including 3D modelling - to create jewellery that reflects the harmony of light and form.
Auréa collection
The Auréa jewellery collection combines modern minimalism with timeless elegance. The single-stone Auréa ring serves as a striking focal point, complemented by the lightly embracing shape of the Auréa Side.
Designed in the same formal language, the Auréa pendant and earrings continue the collection's clean lines and highlight the natural brilliance of the diamond. All jewellery in the collection is handcrafted from recycled gold and certified diamonds.
