Mila is the Most Beautiful Ring of the Year 2026

We have some absolutely wonderful news! Festiven's Mila ring has won the "Most Beautiful Ring of the Year 2026" contest!

Designed by goldsmith Thomas Narsaka, “Mila” captivated the audience and brought Festivelle its third victory in the prestigious jewelry design competition. Handcrafted in Hämeenlinna, this diamond ring is a tribute to love, shared moments, and Finnish goldsmithing.

This win feels especially great because it shows us that Finnish design, bold styling, and craftsmanship honed over decades truly resonate with people.

The moment that gave rise to something unique

The theme of the 2026 competition was A Moment. Milan’s story began with one of life’s most meaningful moments—the moment when two people decide to embark on a journey together.

The ring’s marquise-cut diamonds form two sparkling paths that draw closer to each other and meet in striking teardrop-shaped diamonds. They symbolize two people, two stories, and a shared promise.

Mila is both delicate and striking. Every detail of its design has a purpose.

The ring is made of recycled 18-karat white gold and is adorned with carefully selected natural diamonds. The entry is valued at 39,800 euros, making Mila the most valuable ring in the competition’s history.

Third victory—and the story continues

Milan's victory is also special to us because it continues Festive's impressive run of success in the "Most Beautiful Ring of the Year" competition.

In 2020, Annika Takasen’s “Routa” ring took the prize, and in 2025, “Auréa,” designed by goldsmith Elias Narsaka, emerged as the audience’s favorite.

Now it's time for Milan—designed by Elias's father, Thomas Narsaka—to shine.

Three award-winning rings, three different stories—but they all have one thing in common: a passion for designing and crafting jewelry.

Finnish Handicrafts Since 1947

Behind every piece of Festive jewelry lies a piece of Finnish goldsmithing tradition. Our jewelry is designed and crafted in Hämeenlinna, where the Narsaka family’s artisanal expertise has been passed down from generation to generation since 1947.

Next year, we'll celebrate the 80th anniversary of this story.

“This victory means a great deal to me. It recognizes the expertise of our entire team. Every new order brings work to our workshop in Finland,” says Festiven designer and goldsmith Thomas Narsakka.

Milan’s victory is a great source of joy for us, but at the same time, it encourages us to keep moving forward. We want to bring Finnish jewelry design to an even wider audience around the world and show the kind of expertise that can be found in the small city of Hämeenlinna.

Thank you for being a part of Milan's story!

We'd like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who voted for Mila, cheered her on, and fell in love with her story.

This victory belongs to the entire Festiven team and to all of you who appreciate Finnish craftsmanship.

Milan's story began the moment two people made a promise to each other about a future together. Now that story has been enriched with a new, unforgettable moment.

Thank you for making this possible. ❤️
